Controlled practice and it's not 1s vs. 1s. It's important for the coaching staff to see how each QB works with the first team as well as how the first team works with each QB. It's only the second day of pads. More to come.

I can't disagree with that. It is a double edged sword. OSU game was a classic example of overthinking from an offensive standpoint

Barnett will be lucky to play this year. I'm betting on a redshirt unless a bunch of people get hurt. He has too much to learn. He has the talent but no experience at this level.

We had Saban in the playoffs last season and nobody on that team could or wanted to tackle King Henry. Did we pound the rock? Nope, and it cost Bama the game and possibly the NC. Saban is a fine coach, no homo, but he isn't beyond reproach. Especially on an Internet message board.
