When it comes down to it, the Crimson Tide converts in some way, shape or form. It has put up points after all but two of its 27 red-zone appearances. Nineteen finishes were touchdowns.

Alabama’s 92.59 percent efficiency rate is the program’s best mark under Saban. He took over in 2007. The original bar was set at 90.32 percent thanks to the Crimson Tide’s 2012 performance, which resulted in a national championship.

Inside the 20, Alabama has run the ball into the end zone 15 times. Four passes have been caught for scores.

What were the 2 failures? I know we took a knee at the 5 against VANDY!!!
Yes, Vandy was one, the other was Colorado St. Both said at the Half. Here is the way each game has gone FSU 4/4, Fresno St 5/5, Colo. St. 3/2, Vandy 7/6, Ole Siss 8/8. Now here how it look on the other side our Defense FSU 2/1, F.S. 2/1, CS 4/4, Vandy 0/0, Ole Siss 1/1.

Just a guess... A missed FG?

Building a bit on what Rickey posted...

Remember, Bama fumbled inside the ten, third quarter against FSU. Then the knee against Vandy.

He's right on CSU and taking the knee at the half. But, the ball was on the 20 and finished with a one yard loss...seems that's not being counted.

To be honest, I wish they didn't count those possessions. Just like I don't think they should count the kneel down as a rushing stat. Sort of like catchers indifference when a guy steals a base in the late innings. Just trying to get that 3rd out!

I got my information off the RollTide.com site. It was off the PDF stats sheet for all 5 games.

Changing the subject slightly here ...

When Coach Moore agreed to the deal with Learfield I was completely, whole-heartedly, behind the move. However, when Learfield bought Sidearm and then turn the Internet sites over to Sidearm...those sites have gone to hell.

(It's not just limited to Bama with Sidearm and problems...one of USC sites is trying to get out from under their arm as well.)

Point being...seen A LOT of mistakes the last few years off or RT.com and their stats sections.

Not really a big deal. I know, for a fact, they really screw up on participation charts.

My question is this...when Bo took the knee the ball was on the 20 according to the play-by-play on ESPN's site. So, is that "technically" in the Red Zone...or do you have to be inside of the 20 for it to be official.

If at the 20 qualifies it's 3 of 28.
