Alabama comes in with a 4-3 record versus the South Florida Bulls (5-2). Alabama is coming off of a dominating win at home versus North Florida where they won 76-48 and freshman Jimmie Taylor had his best game so far with 10 points and 9 rebounds. South Florida on the other hand is coming off of a narrowing win versus George Mason at home 68-66 where Corey Allen hit a jump shot with 2 seconds left. While the Bulls are 5-2, their 5 wins have come against George Mason, Tennessee Tech, Bethune-Cookman, and Stetson. Their losses are to Detroit, and no surprise, Oklahoma State by a big margin.

Right now Alabam has an advantage in PPG with 78 compared to their 72. Something Alabama can take advantage of in this game though is their inexperience. We'll likely see more full-court/ half-court defense to force more turnovers and play more zone as their 3P% is sitting at 27%.

I see a similar game we had versus North Florida, Alabama wins 81-66.

good thinking. but watching this game tonight kinda makes me sick. The offense has gotten no better in the last 2 years. Still no movement. Being a Billy Donovan disciple id expect more out of this squad

Call me pessimistic, call me impatient, or call me a Grant Hater, but I'm done with Grant. Sorry but I don't settle for mediocrity and it seems that is all we settle for under Grant. He had a good start and a lot of things to overcome, but there is a time where you have to stop making excuses for him. Embarrassing loss after embarrassing loss. With what I'm seeing from the attendance, it seems that he has even lost the majority of the fan base.

Now, if anyone needs me, I'll be starting the ignition for the "Fire Grant" wagon.

This team's not making it any easier for me to be optimistic. I said I wasn't going to be a Debbie Downer. I taped the game, and flipped over and watched my tape and forwarded throughout - still watching football. (Okay, I've been sitting her for about five minutes.) I got nothing. Xavier and UCLA decide whether or not the Tide is in the tourney. Win both and they're in. Otherwise, the season is effectively over. There's no way they're going to win the SEC season or tourney, and even 14 wins in conference won't get the job done. At least we'll know where the team is going by the end of December.

I tried it too, but it seems all they do is let me down in typical 'Bama basketball fashion. I'm tired of the excuses and bull shit. I'm sure he'll do great elsewhere as an assistant, or hell, he might turn out to be a good HC, but he is not going to be it here.

Definitely one we needed to win. We need to beat Wichita State for sure, and one of the others. No wins outside of Coleman so far. South Florida a lot like us, probably a bubble team.

Well, sadly that game could have just decided on who gets to be a bubble team or who gets to be the #1 seed for the NIT.

We won't beat Witchita State with a sub-par crowd that's for sure. I just hope the fans are still behind the program despite the poor play.
