🏈 GAME THREAD Alabama versus Auburn

That's right: they scored at the end of the game. I was at that shit-show. So the 2nd game we've lost by more than 8 since 2008. And this game reminded me a lot of that game. A QB wearing us out in the passing game. With a RB getting the tough yards in just every carry. And us. Losing numerous opportunities and having a ton of penalties.

Bama was beaten by a better football team. Hell just getting back to the LOS was a big deal for our offense. Nick has a decision to make this spring/fall drills. Stick with what you will continue to get out of your current QB or give the other kid a chance. No rush but it's clear. How do you replace a QB that has won 25 games and lost only 2? Unless you expect the rest of the SEC to continue to be bad then stick to what you have.

Roll Tide.........

Coach Bryant

“It’s awfully important to win with humility. It’s also important to lose. I hate to lose worse than anyone, but if you never lose you won’t know how to act. If you lose with humility, then you can come back.”

Many panicked and substance addled posts. Let's just call it. We played poorly at many positions and in the coaching arena. We had two bungled snaps and an offsides on a short yardage punt. QB missed receivers and reads galore. Bo needs his compass readjusted to N-S from E-W and the idea of running a 2-yard route on a 4th and 3 is stupefying. Defense played well enough, although we didn't get off the field enough on third downs, but if you knew aubrun would score 24 wouldn't you believe we'd win? There were sh!t calls, the worst of which was carrion's fumble on his injury - a clear fumble and immediate recovery.

There are plenty of what-ifs to play back. I put our chances of getting into the playoff at 40 percent, and perhaps we exact our revenge this year. Otherwise, they lose four lineman, their Bama fan kicker and probably their feature back. We still have the upper hand, on the whole, and it's time to recommit and fuck them dry and hard.

3rd and long not stopping them killed us. I can't believe how many they converted. Our Defense was banged up way too much to play that game. It doesn't surprise me one bit what we did on Defense... however, offensively that was crap. Jalen played un-Jalen like. The pass back across the field and numerous back peddles and NOT throwing the ball away. Just not good playing from the QB spot. It wasn't all on him, but he sure didn't look like he has in past games.

Pruitt and Daboll outta forfeit their paychecks for the week, because they were both fucking garbage all game long. Their calls on both sides fucking sucked. Yes, players had some errors and bad oenaltiea, but our defense looked like we were playing with ten guys all game ling and letting Stidham scramble for big yardage was the game. Offense was something words can't explain. Daboll hasn't shown me anything all year like I hoped and we came out vanilla and exactly like I said would get us fucking beat.
