10000 guns... 10000 tanks...10000 planes and you still lost Vietnam against a buncha Asians in sandals and fighting with pointed sticks. Welcome to the world of SHIT HAPPENS!!! LOL.
true. 11-1 is a great record that most teams would love to have. but it just hurts that much more when that "1" is to auburn. also when it comes at the end of the season and will keep us out of the cfp.
I retract this. Said out of anger. Donāt know if he will or not but he, and many others, were garbage tonight. Out coached, out hustled and just plain out played. I think the defense got exposed after a season of not playing any legitimately dangerous opponents. I donāt know that having Hamilton back wouldāve made any difference.
on the rankings.... it'll be interesting to see where they put Miami. They should move them below Bama... but who knows.
Rankings should be a combo of Clemson, Oky, Auburn Wisconsin as the top 4. UGA and Bama should be 5/6. Miami 7.
If that is the case, Auburn/UGA play and one or the other should would drop below Bama. We'd need Ohio State to beat Wisconsin and/or Oky losing to TCU to give us a chance to move into the top 4.
Maybe the committee will value the injuries we have had on Defense as they have apparently given Clemson a pass because their QB was injured in their loss.
Which brings me too my next point. Saban has to decide if its time to move on from Hurts. He's a great young man and serviceable college QB, but without the right offensive scheme he is below average and doesn't cut it in the SEC ( See Florida). Kiffin put him in an offensive scheme that maximized the players around him and this allowed Hurts to thrive as an athlete playing QB. Daboll is no Kiffin. BAMA has to have a QB that can throw the ball and take over a game in doing so if called upon. Coker wasn't half the athlete Hurt's if, but was a far better QB.
Finally, BAMA has Dan Werner on staff. He proved at Ole Miss that, with a few talented players, he could compete with the best. BAMA has a boat load of talented players. Just saying.
Here I am, embarrassed about this and other things I posted today. I didn't mean this. It was said in a moment of anger. This isn't the early-mid 2000's. So, we don't lose to auburn a lot. So, unlike 2000-2007, I have forgotten what it feels like. Which is a good thing. But, nonetheless, it was a stupid thing to say. Mea Culpa.
Funny you should mention that, Plano! Right as you posted that, my buddy, removed my iPad from my hands and handed me a Bloody Mary! It calmed me down. I guess you could say, friends don't let friends continue to post stupidity!
I had to go to my sister house to watch the game, because our TV with out. So my wife with to FB and posted to see the score, and to judge how I was doing! I told her after reading the post, I haven't gotten upset about any Bama lost since our first grandchild was born. Now I have a great-granddaughter and about to have another one in April.
Wow I woke up this morning with sadness about how we have lost that game. Now we will have to smell the mothballs from my Allbarn friends for the next year.
