What are your thoughts about the upcoming game between the Crimson Tide and the Tigers of Missouri? Bama is coming off a big, emotional win against Oklahoma. Can the Tide be consistent two games in a row? Missouri has lost 2-3 in a row. Will they catch the Tide by surprise? Tomorrows game is on ESPN2.

I think we will be ready H. Jones wrist is now healed D. Hall on the mend hoping we are hitting our stride. Ten conference games left 5 @ home and 5 on the road. We have 3 tough home games left with TN, FL and Arky need to win out at home . If we could go 6-4 I think that would be a really good finish.

Me thinks you've got a few names confused here, suh.

According to SECN commentators H. Jones had a wrist issue long before Hall's injury. I assumed it was the reason for the Jones's drop off in play. He seems to have his mojo back.

SECN or ESPN2's announcers? I've followed Jones very closely this year and havent heard of any wrist issue. I'm betting the announces are wrong. With so many injuries this season it's easy to see why.

Sexton has had his eye hurt and his ab problem. Hall with his wrist. Key with the knee. Petty with an ankle. A lot of players, but no recollection of Jones.

Missouri is a really good team who moves the ball well and their bigs can shoot from outside. The had a big loss with Michael Porter early in the season but the other Porter kid has been big for them. They like most teams are different at home but they are definitely capable of getting hot and beating us at home.

Oklahoma was a big win. Our schedule this year has been brutal but to be certain we are in we have to at least go 5-5

5-5 and Alabama is 10-8 in the SEC, Wow! After the start the Tide had, I'd say that's superb. They go 5-5, they're in absolutely. 19-12 going into the SEC Tourney should be plenty. The Sooner game was BIG.

5-5 won't be easy, and not being facetious I'm going to buckle up. Who in the heck knows what's going to happen. It's been much more fun than last season. They are so much fun to watch.

Now, if I'm not mistaken we have UK, UT, Florida twice, and at the Barn. Five games. Tough games. The really interesting thing to note is, and I don't think anyone will disagree, Bama could win any or all of those games. Any win out of those is icing for the RPI. Lose them all, and we might need to win all the others. Maybe not. Who the heck knows, but you have to love the drama.

Upcoming games:
@ Florida
@M. State
UT
@UK
@Auburn
Arkansas
Florida
@A&M

We have a tough row to hoe because none of these games are give me games. Hopefully, the men in Crimson will play consistent ball, shoot well from the free throw line and pick up some wins down the home stretch. We have to take the 4 home game (Missouri tonight) and pick up 2 on the road IMO.

Didn't we use to play each West opponent twice? Unless I missed a game/two, I only see us playing TAMU and Aubarn twice? If this is true, when did this change? Do the teams from the west we face home AND away rotate? Is there any permanent opponent?

Rotation is different every year. Once again in basketball there is no east and west.

That little piece of metal with a pea in it belonging to those people with the striped shirts makes a difference in a bunch of home games. We have never gotten a fair whistle in Memorial Gym and I doubt we will get one in Auburn or Kentucky. When you play on the road at any level of basketball, it moves fast, mistakes from the officials can pile up fast and the home crowd can unintentionally influence a call or 5. It happens all the time in high school basketball too. You can see at my sons games.. it happened last night.

They were winning on the road by 12 points which could have been more than that. We were actually driving to bucket every play and being pressed all over the floor.. they were jacking up threes while we sat back in a 2-3 zone. Magically in the second half while this is going on there was a 10 to 3 foul differential and we had been called for the 10 fouls. Game tightened all the way up and the home team took the lead with 2 minutes left. Luckily our kids fought back and won this time.

When you play on the road you are going to have to respond when it's hard and everything is going against you. You can't allow them to steal the momentum even if they are getting the calls and breaks.. you have to fight thru some of that when you play on the road. When you play a great team on the road it becomes harder because they know how to take advantage of a few breaks and they understand how it important it is not to let you fight back at that key moment.
