A 19 point turnaround in one half of a tournament game is pretty impressive. We can get the lead back but we’ve got to: make free throws, make layups, make 3’s and continue rebounding. And.... not charge!

One thing I have hated with Alabama teams the last five or so years is the driving, leaving our feet under the basket and then trying to kick it outside. I have seen us turn it over 1,000 times that way and it still gets me pissed off. Shackelford knows better and usually pulls something off, but man!

When Petty shoots like a 3rd string small college freshman, Bama can still win ugly against lesser teams. That’s not the case with UCLA. The Pac 10 was as underrated as the B1G was overrated and UCLA and their brethren are all playing way above their seeding slots. If you’re a team designed around making a ton of 3 point shots and you’re stone cold, the chances of beating a talented team that’s shooting lights out are zilch. So, Bama not only has to get hot quickly, UCLA has to get cold too. Here’s hoping Bama pulls off a Tennessee type comeback!
