I found my square toe shoe!!!!

and the shoe string.....their is No Limit to the color scheme you can use today

I used the square toe and the strap!!! Would kick, run off the field, change shoes then run back out to play safety!!!

I understand 100%. You also had to take your game shoe off and put the kicking shoe on for PAT's. Good memories.

I played QB on offense and when we would score, the ball boy would bring me shoe, block, and strap. I would rip my cleat off and throw it to the sideline and slap on the square toe, strap, and place the block down all before the 25 second clock expired. A rat race all before the kick!!!

barefoot punting was the thing at one time. Few years ago I was demonstrating it for some of my younger nephews etc After about 3 barefoot punts I busted a blood vessel in the top of my foot. that was the end of that history lesson

Sir I humbly submit that I should not be included in this group. I love beer and I did backup kick for 1 year in school. But I am now 50 years old and fat. I could probably hit my lob wedge through the uprights from PAT distance :rolf:

At the age of 44, wearing boat shoes, I kicked a 20 yarder through the uprights , at the CFBHoF. Granted, that was with nobody trying to run at me. Also, my shoe almost made it through the uprights.
