Buuuut, now we have a ST coach who was actually a kicker. Shouldn't be having these issues going forward.

I can see the natural assumption that because we brought in this kicker that Bulevas must suck. My question is how many kickers does that give us? Even if Bulevas has been doing fine, I would think we would want a decent backup in case of injury. Papa missed a game this past season with injury and according to JK Bulevas likely to handle kickoffs and therefore more likely to get dinged than if he was only handling FG/XP.

No scholly being spent so idgaf. Hopefully one of them can kick straight.

This^. Does anybody really know how Bulovas has done/is doing? According to the official roster, Bulovas is the only PK left on the roster. I'm all for competition.

I've heard nothing along the lines of him struggling. I've not seen anyone that I follow/trust mention it either.

I have seen reference to someone making mention he looked like he was struggling during warm-ups to the NC game (or it may have been Clemson) and that story seems to be popping up more and more.

I hear ya.

While the results haven't been perfect, Saban has had pretty good success out of Sail's kicking camp evals.

Consistency.....when things on the line....
You can be 90% but miss a chip shot for a National championship....no!
Be 80% and miss 4 in a critical game when everything is on the line...no
So numbers...%s...mean nothing...its when its all on the line...
Just havent had a kicker..that you feel could win a big game ....in awhile...
Now Shelley did...vs lsu... so he isn't included

What I have read around the Internet is that Bulovas was having a hard time kicking off the ground. Can’t get any air on the ball and is kicking line drives.

I hate to say it but......We should just offer whoever the Barn offers...LOL> Barn has had elite kickers for like the past 10 years. Bama always seems to miss on a kicker. Don't get me wrong.....I have loved JK Scott as a punter but as far as field goal kickers we have had shite! and The barn always seems to get the better kickers....
