Alabama was well-represented in 2016-17’s third and final installment of the College Top247, which was released Sunday. After placing 14 players on the midseason list, the Crimson Tide duplicated that number with 14 players making the postseason cut.

Alabama (14-1, 8-0 SEC) led the country with 14 players on the final College Top247, and senior defensive end Jonathan Allen was the Tide’s -- and nation’s -- top-ranked playing at No. 1. Allen climbed nine spots from his midseason ranking of No. 10 and 11 from his preseason placement at No. 12.

Allen and fellow Alabama defender Reuben Foster (No. 5) are considered five-star players by 247Sports, as they are ranked among the top-26 players in the country. Foster was also ranked No. 5 in the midseason rankings but was No. 53 in the preseason version.

The other 12 players that were named to the third edition of the College Top247 are listed below, along with their difference in ranking from midseason to postseason College Top247:

27. LB Tim Williams (46, -19)

37. LB Ryan Anderson (26, -11)

39. DB Minkah Fitzpatrick (48, +9)

48. TE O.J. Howard (228, +180)

79. DT Dalvin Tomlinson (135, +46)

115. FS Ronnie Harrison (NR)

125. LB Shaun Dion Hamilton (NR)

129. OT Jonah Williams (190, +61)

159. OT Cam Robinson (78, -81)

163. QB Jalen Hurts (104, -59)

168. SS Eddie Jackson (90, -78)

200. CB Marlon Humphrey (133, -67)

Two players made their debuts on the list in Harrison and Hamilton, while running back Damien Harris and wide receiver Calvin Ridley did not make the cut from the midseason list.

Of the 14 players listed on the Top247, seven of them were five-star prospects during their recruitments, according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite rankings.
