I've been white water rafting in that area, gorgeous area from what I recall.

Yep, you've got the Ocoee River running between Ducktown and Cleveland, just beautiful - plus you have the Hiwassee River near there, which is a really good paddling river.

Ducktown is the armpit of the area, prettier than it used to be. Every shred of vegetation died from the Copper smelting there, then the topsoil eroded. It looked like Mars for decades.

They said you could identify Copperhill TN from outer space because of the damage to surface from copper smelting

Think about this My wife BD is Nov. 26, My older granddaughter is the 14th, the grandson is the 11th! My great granddaughter is the 5th. My oldest GD was born on a Monday, but my daughter had a few false labor. Miss the LSU '95 game. My grandson I miss the Miss.St game '00, My GGD I miss the best game with LSU '17.
