After Friday night's loss to Arkansas, the University of Alabama gymnastics team fell to No. 7 in the national rankings this week, posting a season average of 196.2. Defending co-national champions Oklahoma and Florida are the top-ranked teams in this week's rankings with scores of 197.063. LSU fell to No. 3, while Michigan and Utah are joint fourth place. Nebraska is ranked sixth, .013 ahead of Alabama's season average.

The Crimson Tide scored two falls in Saturday's loss to Arkansas, resulting in a balance beam score of 48.15. At 21st, balance beam is Alabama's lowest-ranked event with a season average of 48.6. Aja Sims has been a bright spot for the Crimson Tide, posting 9.9s in both meets this season.

Alabama's uneven bars average is 48.8, good for 19th in the country. The Crimson Tide posted a 49.1 on Friday, up from the season-opening score of 48.5.

On vault and floor exercise, Alabama continues to be one of the top teams in the country. In its second meet of the season, Alabama scored a 49.475 on Friday night, bringing its season average to 49.425, ranked No. 2 nationally, just behind Nebraska's 49.45. Sophomore Kaitlyn Clark has paced Alabama on vault with a 9.95 and a 9.925 in the first two meets of the season.

Alabama is the No. 1 team in the country on floor exercise after Friday's 49.45 pulled the Crimson Tide's season average up to 49.375, ahead of No. 2 Oklahoma by .05.
