The Kids from my neck of the woods. Plenty of barn talk. This one has done a complete 180 from just a few weeks ago. The football down south boys (Columbus, GA.)had him at 60% going to the barn last night. Off the heels of the big cat weekend and given the absolute need at LB down on the plains, WOW!!!!!!!!!

I looked at his commitment like this, go to BAMA where the track record of putting LBs into the NFL is great, win a Natty or two while at BAMA, or at least be in contention for one every year OR go to the Barn, play immediately and never get better from the time you step on campus til the day you leave, play for 2-3 different DCs and more than likely 2 different HCs. Easy choice!!

Bama Online article says he's a good friend of Reuben and he told me, " if you want to win championships and games come to Alabama." They have him projected at ILB on 1st and 2nd downs. 6'2", 240 pounds.

If I had the time I'd like to see a % of top 100 guys that have gone to Alabama versus other programs. Its staggering. Seems like I recall that the '14 class with Evans, Hump, Brown et al had like 16 top 100 guys or something just dumb like that.

4-Star LB Will Ignont has Georgia Bulldogs in New Top 3

Will Ignont made a surprising announcement on Friday by listing a new top three of the Georgia Bulldogs, Michigan Wolverines and Florida State Seminoles. Not only that, he says UGA is his new No. 1


In an interview with Mike Farrell of Rivals, Ignont explains what he likes about Kirby Smart and the 'Dawgs coaching staff:


"Coach Smart, coach Tucker, all those guys were at Alabama," Ignont says. "I was really close with them, especially coach Smart. I've been around him since my freshman year, eighth grade year. I've known him for a long time. I feel like they're going to do something special at the University of Georgia."


Ignont says he's friends with several members of the 'Dawgs 2017 class and likes what he sees coming out of Athens.


"I could definitely see myself at the University of Georgia."
