Who should represent Day 12?

There are some good ones, but in the context this is a number worn while being associated with the Alabama football team...

The list starts with (and maybe should end with) Coach Bryant.

If I were to rank my top five it would be

1- Bryant

Then a tie for the #2 between Namath, Stabler, Trammel, and McElroy. In fact, when I think about it I'd likely put McElroy and Trammell ahead of Namath and Stabler because they were on the team that started the NC runs for the Tide—Trammel in '61 and McElroy in '06.

So, where does that leave my rankings?

Now it's a

1-Bryant
2A and 2A with Trammell and McElroy.

Simply because the '66 team was spurned I'd lean towards giving Stabler a nod over Namath.
