I have a friend that is a HS football coach, that I used to coach with. Heck, he got me into coaching. We took a brand new high school's football team to the state playoffs in year 3.

His daughter is on that championship cheer squad.

She and my own daughters used to hang out and play during football practice many years ago when they were all in elementary school.

Now, my oldest is married and living in Vegas with her Airman husband, my youngest is a junior in high school, and his daughter is winning cheer championships at UA.

Time flies. Blink, and a decade is gone... GONE (Nick Saban voice).

Most have scholarship money. I wonder if NIL comes into the sport? I doubt they'd see rev shares.
