🏈 Alabama Championship...Belt?

omfg.gif

I need that in my life... *sees price*... Nevermind... :(

I'd have to slap someone paying for this garbage. $1200? Heck, I loved wrestling growing up, but you have to be a total tool to pay that as a grown man. These guys actually making a living on selling these?

Another question, why did they put the NFC logo from the NFL on the Alabama belt?

While I think it is very irresponsible should someone actually buy that just as a fan, I also think if you got the money hey it's your money. Have fun... and as a wrestling fan I must tell you to PISS OFF... that really makes you come off like a dickhead to judge and pretend like you have a right to tell someone what to spend their money on. I'm sure non-football fans think we're tools for spending all the money on Bama merchandise we spend. And those guys dont typically make belts for fans, it's usually for actual wrestling organizations or the like. You can get an actual replica fan title for about $200.

I'm assuming it was meant to represent the National Championships.

Here is a quote from the site "about" them listed at the top of the page...

TRB has made belts not only for wrestling and MMA, but also for many custom requests. Some examples are universities, sports teams, corporate awards, fantasy leagues, poker championships, motorcycle clubs and many other styles. Your imagination is your only limit. Check out our FINISHED BELT GALLERY for ideas. Any belt can be customized to suit your needs or we can design one from scratch, just for you.

Also,no idea why the NFC logo is on there. They must've slipped up on that. The NCAA logo would've been better.

I would've edited the previous post to add this but evidently now there is a 5 minute time limit on that. Once 5 minutes are up,we can't edit it.

Anyhow, I just left a question at their site asking about the NFC logo. I'll see what they have to say.

It was more of a joke about the cost than a threat to actually go out slapping people, good lord. People on this site can be so touchy sometimes. Good lord, you think I'm seriously going to slap everyone that actually buys a belt? I'm sorry, but I have more important things to do on a daily basis than audit this company and go door to door slapping folks. I like wrestling too, but you know what, I finally had to grow up, start raising my kids, work a little more because my job as an accountant demands it, take care of my house, so I don't have the time as a grown man to watch the stuff. I followed it multiple times a week when I was younger and Stone Cold and The Rock were tearing it up. I'm sure there are plenty of things I have that people would shake their heads at, but I graduated from Alabama, so anything Alabama I own has a strong rooted purpose and has created and shaped who I am, and will undoubtedly be passed on to my kids as they will have a strong influence pushing them towards Tuscaloosa.

And I don't have the right to tell you what to spend your money on, and I couldn't care less what you do with your life, so quit looking so deep into the comment that you flatter yourself into thinking I actually care what you do and who you are. I think you make some great points on here, but I've also seen you start blabbing like you did to my comment, so I don't know you or care about you. Would I like to know you on a level other than "Birdman37"? Of course I would. I always want to meet Alabama fans, especially on this site because I enjoy the commentary and back and forths with people that pretty much get football and other sports. But don't take my words as me telling you or anyone else what to do with their money, because you earned it, so do what you please.
