šŸ“” Alabama Athletics now has equity in Digital Brands Group, Inc. (DBGI). (This could be a significant revenue stream.)

Maybe with some mad money. Negative equity and losses since they started public reporting in 2020. That article looks like some pump and dump cheerleading. It appears to be the carcass of an earlier unsuccessful venture.
I don't have a clue. I have interest; not in the investment side.

In that "still drinking coffee reading around" time this morning I pulled up the page again. I didn't read it yesterday; too many graphics for me at the time. So, text only this morning, right? That was the plan...until.

I pulled up the page and clicked on the logo in the banner to, hopefully, go to the home page. That didn't work. It's just an image: no link embedded in the code (as simply as that can be done.) I wanted to see what graphic or image they'd used. Was it for DGBI? For UA? If it was Bama, what logo? It mentions apparel, what number? These were the thoughts I had. Had.

The last updated article on their home page was from the spring. The newsletter? Last year.

I got up and put a biscuit in the toaster.

Also, I would add that if they're offering themselves to secure agreements (providing stock awards), then the stock will continue to dilute.
The annual million dollar stock phrase caught my attention. I couldn't help but think of the Auburn / Under Armour deal (though that was structured differently.)

If there's one thing I know I don't know? I have no idea how something will go when it hits social and digital platforms. In some cases. Some are pretty easy.

Here's one thing that didn't click with me this morning. The college fan base is a predictable demographic. We know the demographics of the groups that are drawn to these digitable and social platforms.

In a Venn the people with the money people (CFB) and the people on the platforms? My impression is the intersection isn't that big.

If this is an apparel and influencer based idea? A strong example in its favor would by Touch by Alyssa. Fanatics didn't hesitate to grab that up as I recall. It exploded when she expanded from MLB to NFL.

Interesting none the less...
