Grubb took Huff with him to Seattle… That is a man all fans should not want to ever come here again…

His career was in flux. He was living in Seattle, as was his family. He didn't know what McDonald (Seattle) was going to do. He was never officially hired at Bama. He was offered the job at Seattle. He took the job.
And this is a point of contention? This is a reason to say, "no?"
The notion there was something nefarious? Come on.

Agree. And I don't say that to bash Sheridan, I think he can do the job. He got dealt a pretty bad hand this past season and IMO it's unfair to totally judge him based off of it. But I think Grubb is the better play caller. And that year he just spent with the Seahawks is only going to make him a better OC moving forward. I think he'd be beneficial in other areas too which would be a bonus. As said earlier, both of them on staff would be ideal. My understanding, that is the goal if they can make it happen.

Can’t be like that. This is a business. Coach Saban hired Lance Thompson multiple times even though he ran his mouth about Coach after leaving. And still Coach re hired him I think twice during Coaches tenure. Gotta put them feels to the side for the good of the collective sometimes. If ego can stay in check.
Hard to put a % on it because of variables in play, but it is definitely an option. It is definitely being explored on both ends. That doesn't mean it happens though. I'll put it like that.
It is funny that you think his one post will keep this from continuing to fly.... Prople want to believe these type of stories for some reason.

I don’t care who coaches what, as long as we are getting the best out of whomever puts on that Crimson jersey. Not just on the field but after. That takes trust from a 17 to 20 something year old kid to a new adult in their life. We know young people don’t care what you know until they know you care about them. Yet, with the ease to leave being the way it is, that takes a special person to gain that trust And they got to be good football coach as well. Sounds simple to me.

If ya want, re-read what I posted; it was mentioning about how she hated education and the school system to "go along" with the "hates Alabama" sitcom. It was a farcical comment. She holds a Phd in Education, has been a teacher and a VP for a high school.
Tongue in cheek, right?

The talk about Grubbs wife was not just a “social media” or imaginary thing… It was also broadcast on sports talk radio, the day he turned and ran off to Seattle (and stole Huff too btw)…So people aren’t blowing anything out of proportion on their own… But, maybe if Grubb takes the job he and his wife will clear the air…
I would hope that as a state, fan base and individually we are all past the color of one’s skin. No doubt racism still exists but a few idiots should not ruin the fact that we do not care about skin color. Bottom line, can a person do the job and develop relationships. This is not the 1960’s Alabama that I grew up in now.

Rita didn't like us either and that sure turned out well for us.
JMO but I'm not all that into bringing in Grubb unless he is bringing Phenix with him to Bama.
My group at the Oasis could call the plays if we had Joe Willie at QB.
LOL at throwing talk radio in there like that adds any validity whatsoever to the rumors. Again, the entire thing was blown way out of proportion and mostly revolved around people making assumptions about the situation and running with it. Then more fans piled on, because some have to feel offended about everything (regardless if it's true or not), and it took on a life of its own.
