Another Alabama support staffer is leaving for a new job.

The Carolina Panthers have hired Crimson Tide offensive analyst Jake Peetz as their running backs coach, the team announced Wednesday.

Peetz, who was also an analyst at Alabama in 2013, rejoined the staff last year after three seasons with the Oakland Raiders, including one as the team’s quarterbacks coach.

Peetz has also worked for the Washington Redskins (2014) and Jacksonville Jaguars (2008-12).

Was there an issue with him? I would think all of those guys are always looking around. The reason they are at Bama is so Saban can pick their brain before they move on.

I had always thought it was so they could pick CNS's brain before they moved on. I would venture, that anything he receives from them, is miniscule compared to what they are gleaning from him.

If a person is going from an analysis job to coaching an onfield position, why does the motive have to be anything but a better job, somewhere else?
