University of Alabama Athletics Director Mal Moore has been admitted to Brookwood Hospital in Birmingham for tests and treatment regarding pulmonary problems, according to a release issued by the university.

According to a report from Cecil Hurt of The Tuscaloosa News, Moore was hospitalized in Birmingham on Sunday. Moore, who has served as UA's athletic director since 1999, was hospitalized last August for an irregular heartbeat and was released after two days.
