šŸˆ Alabama A-Day 2015- Observations, articles, and discussion thread

From watching the replay, I came away with a few observations.
1) Our front 7 (any combination) is going to be HELL to deal with!!
2) Grant Hill needs to be back come fall camp. I don't know if Jackson is going to be the answer at RT.
3) The secondary looks like it will be better. I think this may be from a combination of a BEASTLY front and some QBs who were unsure of themselves at times.
4) Consistency is going to be BEAT into whomever the starting QB becomes. Coker looked to have it in the first half but then clueless in the first part of the second half.

I'm have no real opinion here because I honestly don't know much about him, but what has Grant Hill proven? I keep hearing his name for like two years now, but have only seen where he can't seem to crack the starting lineup or get much meaningful playing time. Like I said, not knocking the guy, just would like some insight to him since I keep hearing his name but haven't seen him on the field much.

Grant has been our 6th best lineman the last 2 years. He subbed for Shepard and has played meaningful snaps. He also subbed in the guard spot as a freshman if memory serves correctly.

I think it was the Kentucky game he played in. Did a good job, but I remember him jumping (false start) when we were down close inside the 5-10 yard line. As they went to commercial break you could see Saban jumping his $h*7 for the penalty. All in all he seems to be a versatile player that I agree should crack the line up this year.

It was the UK game his freshman year. Him jumping as a Frosh wasn't near as bad as AK or LB committing 2-3 apiece as Jrs and Srs.
