| RECRUIT ⭐️Alabama '24-'25 Recruiting Class ⭐️: 4 ⭐ Zyan Gibson commits to Bama.

Yes! This what a God hating, Jesus denying society does. Man’s innate desire to know God is replaced with I can do this myself with social justice. It’s all futile and then we say, if we (a different group of humanists/socialists) were in control, we could make it work. What ensues is a power struggle, riots, genocide, wars to gain control. In short, assuring man’s destruction, which is Satan’s plan. And why, because most just want to do what they want, justifying their sin(s) and degrading society.
Many civilizations that worshiped gods other than yours have ascended and descended throughout history. The particular deity(ies) is not consequential to either prosperity or decline. The factors I described are far more predictive.

Interesting background on how Michigan pulled off the coup to land the LSU committed QB. Which we can see is going to impact more than just those 2 teams. Larry Ellison’s new, and 5th wife, is a 33 year old Michigan grad. And evidently big fan of their football. She wanted to help get them back on top. Happy wife happy life! They had Larry and his young wife do a Zoom call with the kid, raised the offer over LSU, then had Tom Brady FaceTime him.

Hard to predict where college sports will be in 5-10 years. Easy to imagine they will be significantly different than what we are accustomed to.

Hell, some wives just sleep with the player, multiple teams..

So..what time is the signing tomorrow?!

It starts at 12:01 AM, tomorrow. We get the news throughout the next few days.
In all seriousness...it's a little different but that's close.

I think it's 8 AM in the players time zone. So, a kid could sign in ATL to play in Hawaii ... that paperwork is coming through at 3 AM. Australia is 17 hours ahead of Alabama. I remember a kid signing from New Zealand a few years ago and his paperwork was technically almost a day late.

No. :ROFLMAO: It's a musso rant in a recruiting thread...with signing day starting tomorrow.
The “signing” ceremony doesn’t mean anything … there is no commitment … no development … no struggle to overtake a starter’s role … and conversely, no pride in fairly losing a starting role to a superior teammate and then staying committed to the team by serving in a supporting role. The cherished virtues that team sports like football used to offer our culture are destroyed by allowing (and even rewarding!) indecision, infidelity towards your team, tantrums, quitting, self-declaring a redshirt year because you’re upset, and fleeing to the portal for validation.

Just look at the explosion in unsportsmanlike behavior we’ve seen on the field this season. Players are like, “So what? No one can punish us!” I can’t even stand to watch pros act this way, much less teenagers.

There is iron in your words.

Rosters are full of jive ass punks. The flag planting is such a fuking joke. Problem is the recruiting pool will only get worse with another crop of the SOS every year. Every play these guys jump up and flash like they made the play of the year. Then the very next play they get their azz handed to them. It all started about 15 years ago and it is complete out of balance now with no way back.

I took photos for Senior Night at a local school this year. They had 18 seniors. 17 of them stated (announced by the PA) their goal was to attend college & then get drafted by the NFL! This was a 4A school with a 6-4 record! What kind of shit are parents/guardians pumping into their heads?
BTW the other kid - wanted to go to tech school & be in HVAC! What do you want to bet that he will end up more successful?

Going to buy Mama that Range Rover and the house on the hill. Aight?

Terry Saban told the world the deal when she asked Nick why they were doing what they were doing. They parent(s) wasn't interested in Terry and Nick trying to make their son a better person and player. They were just interested in how much money would you pay them.

There is no coming back from where college football has gone in a short 4 years.
