🏈 Alabama 2025 NFL draft decision tracker: Who will stay in school or enter draft?

Kordell Stewart.
Um, we're talking about college QBs that successfully transitioned to another position in the pros. Stewart played primarily as a dual threat QB that ran alot. His position was always listed as QB. In 11 years he had a total of 81 targets in receiving. He never had more than 17 receptions in a year and five of those years he had zero targets.

Matt Jones played only four seasons in the NFL and out of 54 games, he started 15 of them. I wouldn't say he had much impact as a receiver overall. There are VERY few college QBs that successfully switched positions and made a career out of it. In fact, just about none of them from major college programs had sustained success. Tyrelle Pryor came close, playing 7 seasons at TE/WR but he only had one good year and othewise was pretty bad. Julian Edelman had a long and successful career at WR but he came from Kent State. I doubt Milroe agrees to switch positions. Some team will pick him up and see if they can develop him. He has some bad habits to work out so we'll see.
I can only think of one..... Tom Treebow.

Ah, you mean like Antwaan Randle-El?

If he does well at his pro day and combine, then he could pull an Anthony Richardson and get into the first round. But he's gonna have to be on his A-game during those throwing drills, he makes certain throws, scouts will notice.
He should be fine in that but like other days it's more of the interview he needs to work on the most. X and O's

Jim Jensen.

We have a lot of HAPPY BAMA FANS!!
Might regret what we have hoped for. It can get worse... Like everyone I was as frustrated at times with Milroe but the dude is a freak athelete and if the light can come on he will be hard to stop. We saw that at times (see UGA first half Milroe) during his Bama career.

I wish him the best and hope he becomes the outstanding QB he wants to be. I appreciated his attitude and how he carried himself while he was at Bama. Best of luck Jalen...

I bet he runs about a 4.55 or 4.6.

Bet as much as you'd like, but FWIW... He’s been one of the top 5 fastest players on Bama’s roster every year since he’s been there. On that particular run at Arkansas, he hit 22 MPH on the Catapult system (if that doesn't sound like much, google top NFL MPH speeds). On this TD run against LSU earlier this season, he did the same. His speed isn’t a mystery.

Here's where I'm not following your reasoning.

As Brandon mentioned above he's been clocked in pads, in games, running at 22+. That's speed.

Here's where I get confused. If he's doing that in a game and in pads, what happens when he's working out for the GM's, et. al., and he is in shorts and a light t-shirt. Does he slow down?

There is one thing. I've seen guys who have been clocked at a 4.4 have 40 times that were a second or more higher. It all depended on the day. On the same day the same guys have destroyed drills like the shuttle.

Never can tell, right? I don't believe anyone is questioning his speed at the next level.
