This one is hard to call. I just hope that win, lose, or draw, Saban doesn't phone it in the rest of the season. If we managed to lose to Crayola Williams on our own damn campus in a few weeks....it would be DISASTOUROUS for the program, and that is NOT an exaggeration. Believe me, if that nightmare happened, it would be more than just a small handful of Bama fans who would start seriously questioning the GOAT. If the GOAT can't even beat a glorified recruiter who has little to no caching staff and a depleted roster, (not to mention, will have a minimum of 6 losses) at home....I don't even want to think about the fallout

I am not as concerned with CNS as I am with the assistant coaches on staff. My concerns with a couple are well documented.

What worries me is, we are going to mess around and end up with a loss like Oklahoma's loss to Boise State in the 2006 Fiesta Bowl. Their program took a BIG hit that night. Some say they still haven't fully recovered. When do we have that really inexplicable loss where we aren't the same afterwards? When does that shoe drop?

It's jumping ship because they think Alabama loses? And then uses actual recent performances as their backup??? So what is it when they pick Alabama to win and they lose? I don't recall this thread being an Alabama Care Center where you come to coddle feelings and forced to say Alabama will dominate.

Oh definitely some over the top statements, no doubt. I just don't see predicting a loss, on the road to a top 10 team jumping ship since it has already happened twice.

Bama has not lost back to back games in the regular season since 2007. It did happen in 2013 also, but that was the last regular season game followed by a postseason game over a month later. As for back to back losses in consecutive weeks....gotta go back to 2007. I'm going with a lower scoring affair
