The former Alabama All-American was picked by the St. Louis Battlehawks.

The 2001 version of the XFL died because it was just pitiful. The 2020 version was MUCH better and would still be around if not for Covid

I don't think there will be a lot of overlap. XFL is supposed to start up in February and USFL starts in April.
