One would think Aaron Murray had a great football game. But, he really had an average outing—if we give him that much.

265 yards in the air? A good number. 18/33, 1 and 1? He was held in check.

AJ didn't exactly look great last night, but that wasn't all his fault. Their DL and LB's did a good job of not letting him stand back in the pocket for very long, and quite frankly our, with the exception of Cooper, our WR's weren't getting a whole lot of separation.

I can't remember for sure what his timeline was, but will Kenny Bell be back for Notre Dame?

That 44 yard TD pass was huge for the win and for AJs stat sheet.
He ended up with a better passing efficiency rating for the game than Murry had.
Murry had some yards, but got a lot late against the prevent defense on the last drive.
If TJ could have just picked up one more first down, we could have saved the drama and Murry wouldn't have seen the ball again.

I think last year's LSU defense is better than this year's ND defense. Last year, LSU had a more challenging season as well. AJ will have time to prepare. Saban will be prepping him like never before. He made some mistakes last night but a boy can learn and I trust AJ. He came up big last year and knocked down all the haters; and he will do it again in January.
