| FTBL After the game Saturday

A friend of mine went to visit a couple of players in their dorm room. They ran through the highlights of this freshman's performance so far this year, and asked him how everything was going for him and so on. After awhile, the conversation turned to this weekends matchup and the chances of both Alabama and Georgia playing as two undefeated teams in two weeks. The freshman agreed that it could happen and in fact, he HOPED Georgia was undefeated when we go to Athens. My friend said the freshman looked him dead in the eyes and said "We WILL beat Georgia...We can beat Anybody."
What caught my friend's attention was not only what he said, but the kid never blinked, smiled, or changed his facial expression. My friend said "Not only did he say it...He believes it with every fiber of his being."
I just thought this was pretty neat, and it also gave me some insight to what these kids are really thinking. Sounds to me like their heads are certainly in the right place.

I hope we beat Ga. down good. I just wouldn't count on them coming in and laying down.

Arkansas was discussed at length...I was just trying to give the abbreviated version. In no way are they looking past Arkansas. The point was that they believe that they can beat anybody. The Georgia game conversation was simply the topic (brought up by my friend) when the comment was made. That was the end of the Ga game conversation.

Well then, I guess we should root for UGA this weekend. And if we root for UGA, then we should also root for OLE MISS, MSU, TENN, LSU, and ... Now hold on! This just feels dirty and I don't like where this is going. :lol:

No problem pulling for UT to lose, not necessarily UF to win.

But, you are suggesting I root for Ole Miss over Vandy?!?! What is this world coming to? :shock:

I will root for Vols over Gators. But very, very softly. But I'll be a Vandy fan when they play Ole Miss. . I hope Vandy does well this year. I'd like to see them go to a bowl game.
