I'm not really a Gameday watcher anymore... I'd sometimes see the last segment though or last year check the DVR for a good Saban segment. But, I've always enjoyed Corso. I think many fans took him way too seriously years ago and developed a bias against him, but he settled into his role when leaned heavily into being an entertainer and I thought did it well. He obviously loves college football, so much so apparently, that it wasn't easy for him to walk away. And you can see how much people like Herbstreit love him, as a person, which says a lot about anyone in the media these days. So I for one will miss him, even though his health has really hindered his role the last few years. I'm glad he's getting to go out on his own terms, as much as possible I guess, with one last show. Hopefully, ESPN doesn't even try to continue the mascot head pick (or anything similar to it) after he's gone... let it retire with him. And hopefully, Corso's health will allow him to enjoy several more years of football from home.
