The mobile aspects of this change is a lot of what's driven me to suggest to Lance we make this move. ( @Sgt. Lincoln Osiris Saw that note...Lance is a BIG key here.)

If you've looked at the UI on mobile you'd see a dramatic change.

Now, if you're a desktop/laptop guy...you're a bit further down the list. Again, the upgrade wasn't supposed to go live. But...

I work for a publishing company that's into print (newspapers and magazines,) radio, TV, etc. Privately owned. I work nights by choice to avoid phone calls and all the other things that happen and you hate during the day. One of the main reasons you see a lot of my posts at 2-3 in the morning.

I worked the 11:30 p.m. to 8 a.m shift for 30 years. You and I had several late night conversations back in the day.

About the new mobile features, any chance the new software will include integration with Tapatalk? I use it for several other forums. This site has always shown up but does not allow anyone to login.

Those errors have shown up in a few places. One, as example, was on the server end. Lance has been in contact with our server/host about those. Thanks for the heads up.

When we moved from vB to XF there were a few that had some issues. Worse case scenario...with maybe three people...they ended up having to flush their dns.

I'm continually seeing small errors here and there. In our other upgrades I had those corrected before going live. Which goes back to ...

The last time I looked at Tapa was roughly two years ago. At that point there were some privacy issues running rampant. (You'll have to forgive my memory. It was a very "detailed" night at work.) There was something about the way their software interacted with XF's registrations/log-in that presented some issues. I remember a few mentioning it...heard it enough that it got on my nerves enough to form a memory, ya know?

I will look at it again.

What advantages do you find with Tapa? Where/what sites?

Yes, Tapatalk had some vulnerabilities they choose not to address for 6+ months several years ago. Tapatalk didn't give a shit to address these.

I stop useing tapatalk because it stop working! So I just use my chrome on my desk, and phone. I hardly use my Kindle to get on the site.
