If you do run into Penn, please put it in reverse and back over him as well.

I'll do one better. I'll tell him "it's been suggested I..."

Short story: About three years ago, maybe four, a few of us were sitting in a sports bar in West Ashley (it was on Sam Rittenberg, you have have passed it or even stopped in on one of your trips here, Bobby Hartins Sports Grill) having lunch. He ordered a dozen wings and when they were served I asked him to count them.

He said, "it's a dozen, 12." I said, "you sure? Count 'em."

He did...and I asked, "just wanted to make sure you knew how to count to 12." His response, with a tad bit of anger, was only, "Arkansas."

He's really a nice guy. He does tow the party line for the SEC all the time even when several of us have said a rule or call just doesn't make sense/was wrong.

Absolutely! It happened all the time. I think part of the problem with the HUNH is that the officials get all caught up in the speed and lose control of the game and miss many things.
Especially when one teams coach is throwing a hissy fit on every play to get the refs to "hurry up" and get everything set so his team can snap the ball before the other team can substitute or get set.
