A-Day Notes: Tyrone Prothro scheduled to join Saturday's 7-on-7 game

Former Alabama receiver Tyrone Prothro is among the players tentatively scheduled to be a part of Saturday's 7-on-7 alumni flag football game, per UA sports information. The game will be held at noon before the 2 p.m. A-Day Game at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Prothro's football career was tragically ended by a gruesome leg injury in 2005. He stayed in classes at UA and graduated last summer.
Included in the list of former Tide players scheduled to take part either as a player or coach in the flag football game: Bob Baumhower , John Copeland, Barry Krauss, Antonio Langham, Leron McClain, Derrick Oden and Major Ogilvie.
*** Saturday's A-Day format will be like a normal college football game, with two teams playing four 15-minute quarters. Rosters have not yet been released. Last year's spring game featured the No. 1 offense and No. 2 defense on one team and the No. 2 offense and No. 1 defense on the other.
*** The annual Walk of Fame ceremony will take place at 12:15 p.m. Saturday at Denny Chimes. Last year's permanent team captains -- QB John Parker Wilson, C Antoine Caldwell and S Rashad Johnson -- will be honored.
*** Chris Fowler, Todd Blackledge and Wendi Nix will call Saturday's game for ESPN.
