🏈 A touching Story

Aw....Cody made the news.

I have known Cody since he was born and had all the heart problems. His father and I are hunting buddies and facebook friends. We also go to church together. Cody's uncle will be sitting with me at the game this weekend. (Cody's uncle is a Bama fan) Thought that Cody wasn't going to get to come to the game tomorrow. Yesterday (Thursday) he got into a nest of yellow jackets and got stung about 40 times. He had an anaphylactic reaction. He got of the hospital today and will be there tomorrow. The entire time he was in the hospital all he worried about was making it to tomorrows game.

On a side note, when Cody was about 3 or 4 years old we were attending church and he was hell on wheels to say the least. Mean as a snake and would kick any body that looked at him wrong. Cody was in one of his moods and his daddy was about to set him straight, but wasn't wearing a belt. Lynn (his dad) comes to me and asks me if I was wearing one. I said yeah, and he asked to borrow it. So I take it off and am sitting there just goofing off. About 10 minutes later little man comes up to me all sullen with his bottom lip sticking out and says, "Thank you Mr. Doug". Talk about feeling bad. He had to thank me for providing the belt that just tanned his hide. :frown:
