A friend of mine shot an email to me last night after he'd returned home from the basketball game. Here's a quick recap—but with a forward.

When the Saban's arrived to Tuscaloosa I believe the fanfare they witnessed at the airport was a bit overwhelming. No, I'm talking about an overly-exuberant drunk fan kissing him as he's making his way through the throng. I'm referring to their first glimpse at the support they had in store for them from the Bama fan base.

Reality sunk in one spring afternoon seeing 90,000+ fans attended a glorified scrimmage.

Enter one Greg Brown who was coaching the secondary at Colorado last season.

The email told me Coach Brown was in awe as he was walking down the Walk of Champions heading into Bryant Denny stadium. He said he saw Brown continually mouthing, "Wow. Just wow," as Brown was videoing the crowd and the celebration.

A small part of me wonders if reality has sunk in with Coach Brown as of yet.

That is if this didn't do it...

Just as a note of reference.

Folsom Field, the home of the Buffaloes, seats 53, 613.

There were more people than that attending this NC celebration.

I tell you what, I was a part of that 90 thousand plus in the stadium that A'day, and there was more outside that stadium also. Bama Fans are second to no one! Period. Say what you will but we have a dedicated loyal fanbase, and we pack that house even in the sucky years. That A'day was something to behold though. Good to see all those fans celebrating with our boys! Congrats Coach Brown.
