🏈 A program comparison. Is it hard to play at Bama?

Not equating it to the Navy SEALs, but it's all about mindset. If you can prepare and not break down mentally, you'll make it. A number of SEALs say BUD/S wasn't tough physically, but mentally it'll push you beyond anything else you've ever done, and once your mind is where it needs to be, the rest is easy. I think the same can be said at Alabama. Check your ego, listen, and perform. Much easier said than done, but just like the SEALs, a very small percentage make it.

Yeah, it's hard and it's designed to be. Cochran's 4th quarter program had our QB thinking about USC. Bama stays very physical throughout the week of practice when they are preparing for a game. Coach Bryant and Saban believed in making some practices more difficult than what they will experience in a game. Then there is the whole aspect of the mental preparation that is going on with the scheme's we run. It's hard. By the time our guys hit the NFL they are often praised for the knowledge and work ethic they bring with them.
