With Alabama traveling to <input name="IL_MARKER" type="hidden">Kentucky for their first ā€œtrueā€ road game of the 2009 schedule, here are a few odds and ends from the Capstone.

It’s been Coach Saban’s method of operation to have the practices close to the public, but allowing a brief viewing period for the media as the Tide runs its early practice routines. This was not the case Monday when the staff closed off the practice completely. <input name="IL_MARKER" type="hidden">The media can speculate all they want as to why the decision was made. It’s logical to assume their answer can be found with a quick glimpse at a mirror.

JMO, but I think this will be the first "real test" for the defense. In the previous games, the defense was able to key on shutting down one phase of the offense. This game, they will have to focus on both rushing and passing. By no means am I saying that UK's offense is the best thing since sliced bread, but they have the most balanced offense that we have faced so far.
