To’o To’o, who entered the portal after Jeremy Pruitt was fired, has remained in California this winter, away from Tennessee’s football team, while taking online classes at UT.
There’s been some hope that To’o To’o would have a change of heart and return to Tennessee after spring practice, but that ship has sailed according to Rivals recruiting director Mike Farrell.
“One of the coaches heavily recruiting Vols transfer linebacker Henry To’oto’o finally told me it’s probably a done deal for Alabama,” said Farrell this week. “The talented linebacker from Northern California will finish classes at Tennessee and move on to Bama unless there is a stunning change of heart.”
The odds of To’o To’o remaining a Vol were always slim — especially after the comments from his dad that called going to Tennessee a mistake.
