🏈 A-Day Game----What's on the Menu?

Tommy.....the meat is coming from Porter, myself. I think It takes 11 is planning on bringing some fish to fry as well.

I am going to cook a beef roast with beer and Italian seasoning and pepperoccini peppers. Shred it up, put it on a bun with some provolone cheese.

Porter is smoking some Boston Butts and we are going to shred it and put it on buns for BBQ sandwiches.

Also there will be potato salad and cole slaw.

Crimson and white Gecko is in charge of bringing paper plates and plastic forks/knives.

Bamaman37 is bringing hoagie rolls and buns for the meat.

We could use several rolls or paper towels. If you could bring that, it would be awesome. I know you have been there plenty early to have it for us to use, so if you could do that just let me know.........thanks.

The only other thing we could use is sweets. Anybody that wants to bring sweets, let us know. Keep it simple. I know how big a pain it is to lug crap in and out, especially if you are only bringing one thing. We figured twinkies and ho-ho's that are individually wrapped are the best thing.
Lance usually has enough lemonade for Moses and the children of Isreal. I would imagine that drinks will be covered. May not be what you like, but it will be wet. I know there is always a ton of water, and my wife will not go anywhere without diet Mt. Dew.

I can bring paper towels.

As for sweets, how many people will be there? And how early will people be there?

Dang, that's the third time I had to log in just on this one visit. Oh, well...

Somebody's got to promise to eat another portion of ever'thang for me. I'll be on my way back to Tallassee (sister-in-law's house) from Ohoho on Saturday so I won't make the game. Too bad. My 15-year-old grandson was really getting into A-Day. His dad and step-dad are both LSU fans, so it was up to me to bring him up in the nurture and admonition of the Bear.

James I hate to hear that.....I was looking forward to seeing you and the wife again this year.

Tommy, Porter, CrimsonWhiteGecko, and myself will be there about 6 am on Saturday. I would imagine that Kirk and Lance will be there around that time as well. My dad and brother will be with me.....so that is 7 folks that will be there early. Come as soon as you want. Porter and I guess that we fed somewhere between 50-75 people last year. We are shooting for 75-100. That should more than cover it.

Pirate are you located in Tallassee or just family?

I don't want to commit to anything since it will be the wife and kids with me. The wife has no concept of time so we could be pulling up and running for the gate to get in this time. If you guys have a tip bucket, I'd be more than willing to throw in to help if we make it by there.
