🏈 A case of the Monday's. Seeing the news the Chiefs were eliminated caught my attention. 3 straight Super Bowls, right? But something else caught ..

...my attention.

The Chiefs / Bronco's game on Christmas Day was supposed to be a big one. But, here we are looking at a game they thought would be marquee game leading into the playoffs and it means ... nothing.

Christmas Day? I'm not watching the NBA. But, we do have Dallas and Washington. Here's another game for a division that should have meant something for the playoffs. But. ESPN reports Dallas has a 1% chance of making the playoffs. Washington. In the NFC championship last year. This year? Horrible. Eliminated. But, here we are looking at a game they thought would be marquee game leading into the playoffs and it means ... nothing.

Game 3 of the day: Vikings are out of the playoffs. It might be a good game against Detroit. But, here we are looking at a game they thought would be marquee game leading into the playoffs and it means ... nothing.

Why am I pointing all of this out for Christmas?

Amazon has one of the three: the Chiefs / Bronco's tilt. Netflix has the other two.

Both companies bet BIG on these games. They spent MILLIONS to get the rights to broadcast these matchups on Christmas.

And it means...they spent a boat load of money on three games that mean...nothing.

How was your Monday compared to what they woke up to yesterday?

Much better than that. I got my hearing aids back that quit working a week ago today. Old man talk I know but it was so good to be able to hear again. It's one of those things 'if you know, you know.'

We never watch the NBA but do watch the NFL games with former 'Bama players on them. But to your point, I'm not glad some key players had season ending injuries this past weekend but glad the the games on the 'pay to view' channel are not worth anything to the final playoff spots.

I wear hearing aid too. What name brand you have?!

Never ever anytime would watch a nba game. Am ...as you probably are....old enough to remember....how great the nba was. And fun to watch... not with these clowns...

VA gives m top,of line rechargeable hearing aids. Hate them. So use to not being able to hear....that when i put them in...i hear shit i dont wanna hear....
But good for tv watching....can actually hear what the actors are saying.l.

What plan are you on? I don't get that offer. My plan is two lines at $55.

Mine isnt that cheap. They have so many it gets confusing. Sounds like urs is better though.
If urs is Tmobile. I will go back n check into it

We have 3 lines plus unlimited high speed mobile internet forr 250$. Includes Netflix n doordash something ( we use when camping ). ???? And some is still us cellular (internet)

Getting ready to add espn ultimate ( what ever its called.. 300$ year). Deleting directv.
Overall. Big savings

Look at 55+ and see if it helps. I have two lines and Internet through T-Mobile and with auto-draft it's a little over $117 a month.

(BTW, talk about a nice working environment. If you call them the chances are very high you're talking to someone in their call center here; it's about two miles from me. Basketball courts, ping pong tables, billiards, foosball, their own cafe, arcade area for games...freakin' wild place. Very nice.)

Got me feeling i need to look into things.
But a little math.
3 lines + internet. + 96$ credit for Netflix & 96$ credit on doordash. About 270$ - 96$ -96$=$78.00. If the credits were valuable to u

I guess that would be key.
Urs 117$. Mine 78$

URs probably still better according to if one uses the doordash option and uses Netflix
I use those benefits.

But uRs may have those benefits also???

No. That's why I asked. I get discounted rates through my Cell/Internet plan. But, I don't really need them.

There's nothing that Netflix offers I can't find that's free. It's the same with the other services like MGM+ etc. (I do get Paramount+ through Walmart+.)

DoorDash? Maybe three times this year and only when I was ill; soup from a local deli.

I appreciate getting free subs through things I pay for...but when it's more expensive and justified by "it would cost ..." That doesn't click with me.

Thanks. Give me so negotiable things

Hard to believe how arrogant directv reps were. They must have believed they had upper hand. And beeen customer for 20 years.
I just didn't have internet for all those years.
And put up roof high def antenna. 55 more channels with chattanoooga n knoxville networks crystal clear and no blackouts
