I wonder if there will be any point in making my annual "Arkansas" post.
Reading over the Razorpiggie forums, there is a lot of discussion about Johnny Trainwreck, a bit about Bulimia, but not any mentions of Bama that I can see... still, there are delusional fans...this one was on Hogville, Terry's home away from home...
"This will be the surprise team in the SEC with 8 wins at a minimum. We are going to absolutely gash opponents with the power run game. We will field a hungry defense that forces turnovers and minimizes mistakes. A&M will be the signature win."
Curiously, he gets smacked down by the majority his fellow hogs.
As delusional as Hog fans are, I don't know that even they can overcome the stark reality that is 2013.
In the aforementioned thread, another fan posted: "Should we beat A&M I think that we stand a very good chance of winning 1 of the next 3, maybe 2 of the next 3 against Florida, S. Carolina and Alabama."
In past years, that would have read "all 3 of the next games."
There is another thread "who do you most want to beat this year?" and surprisingly, TAMU is in the lead... with us just behind.
Normally, before Arkansas plays us they have beaten 1x WAC level team, and 1x D1AA team. By 55 points.... while we beat some top 10-20 team by 20-30. Since they won their game by 55 and we won ours by 20, they were obviously going to beat us by 30. Because The third team they beat by 14 (Troy/WKU/NMSU) was better than our opponent (VTech/Michigan/Clemson)...
...but this year, they will have played USM, Rutgers, TAMU, South Carolina, and Florida, before they play us. 3 losses is likely...maybe 4. 5 is not impossible.
It will be interesting. I don't know that I will have any reason to make my post this year, and I am kind of sad in a laughing maniacally sort of way.
