A beautiful place my wife and I hiked to yesterday

Located in the Sipsey Wilderness of the Bankhead National Forest. White Creek Falls even with low water is still a beautiful place. The two falls are separated by approximately 100 feet.

Upper White Creek Falls



Lower White Creek Falls, about a 70 feet fall.

Very cool.

For some reason, this made me think of the place along I-65 north of that you can get fresh water running off the mountain. We stopped by many times when we can back from Smith Lake as a kid.

Beautiful. Smith Lake covered up a huge number of tremendous falls as well.

Very cool. My wife and I drove through and around Cades Cove today, and I was kinda jealous of the folks that were hiking to some of the falls. Been a while since we've done that.
