If you guys were keeping up with the SEC tournament you probably caught the snide remark about Mizzou hosting this years SEC tournament but not qualifying to participate. It goes to demonstrate the depth of SEC softball today...same Mizzou team staved off elimination last night in the Regional hosted by OU. (Mizzou is in the middle of a game that's scheduled to resume first thing today.)

Alabama, UofSC, LSU, UArk, A&M, UT, UGA, and UF all have yet to lose a game in their Regionals. Each team will have to be beaten twice today to keep the the SEC from advancing at least eight teams into the Super Regionals. Missou isn't out yet but can't afford to lose today. Miss State and Ole Miss both have a loss and are in the same position.

Auburn has been eliminated.

I didn't know it was a record but I thought it might be. Back in the day when the PAC was ruling softball they only had 10 teams and that was the only conference that might come close.
