This is going to be year three and we will have a good defense which could speak well for us (ie 1992) but not to set any expectations that high. I am just happy we are back to being competitive, winning in October/November and putting a good team on the field that we can be proud of, if we win a NC in the next 2 or 3 years great but if not the ride and Coach Saban's contribution will never be forgotten at least by me no matter how long he decides to stay at the Capstone.

Retire?!? Seriously? What about this man's laser-like focus says that he is anywhere near, or interested in for that matter, retirement.

Can you see him fishing, gardening, woodworking, helping around the house. Terry would kill him.

You know those guys that work until they die? Well this is what they look like. Coaching is not WHAT he does, it is WHO he is.

All that said, he will cast his lot where he is given the most freedom to do his thing. He left the Pros because, in his own words, success in not rewarded. If (he) out works every other team and wins it all, at best he gets one first rounder and that being the last pick at that. He he does the same in college, he can get the 25 best players every year. Right now, with him being the most powerful man in sports, I don't see a good arguement for him going anywhere else...because he is WHAT he is.

He left LSU to try the pro thing. He came back to college to dominate it, he knows he can't bounce around from school to school if he wants to do that.

I don't see him going anywhere...and everyone who tells me he is leaving (wants him to leave cause they are afraid) Which they should be.

But I agree, he tried the pro's it wasn't for him, college is what he loves and in college I think he will stay. I can see him staying at Bama for awhile, he has everything he could want here, besides the money.
