šŸˆ 5 most intriguing Alabama players entering 2015 spring football

I fully agree with this list. Rashaan Evans is going to kill it this year. Reuben Foster will step it up and mature in my eyes. Scarborough is going to be a stud for sure. Chris Black has a hell of an opportunity and he will easily eclipse the importance of Cristion Jones. Humphrey has every opportunity in front of him right now. I have no doubt our coaches are just looking for some spark in the secondary.

I think it's reasonable to assume that at best Bo is running/sharing the third string role. Assuming that's how it shakes out Bo won't see more than 60 carries this fall.

A hell of a lot of potential here, no doubt. A stud in 2015? I think we'll see the makings of a heck of a player...but won't start seeing much until 2016.

(FWIW, since Saban's been in Tuscaloosa, we haven't seen a third string back with more than 60 carries...most in a season was 2008.)

I think I can agree on that. Just never know with injuries and such as we saw last year. Something always seems to happen. And with the fact he's just as experienced as a receiver, you know Kiffin will get him the ball. Hard not to put a guy like that on the field. I've heard from a good source that they're toying with the idea of him at linebacker and giving serious consideration to it. Just hard keeping a guy like that off the field, and he's a year older than his class. He was at Pro Day and measured at 6'2- 237. Word is he was clocked at like 4.47. He wasn't obviously being eyed and measured like the guys leaving, but they said everyone was there yesterday seeing how they tested out and such.

I'm concerned about Kenyan Drake. I know that his rehab is supposed to be on track so that he can be the #2 guy in 2015, but whether he can regain his pre-injury form is unknown. T. Jones is a huge asterisk. Depending on how things go with both Drake and Jones, Bo may see a good bit of playing time.

How Kenyan recovers is my BIGGEST concern. Saban has always been able to find that "next man up" to plug a hole. If Kenyan can't be #2, no doubt then that Bo's numbers will probably double the previous high for a third back. O line and QB aren't as big a concern to me as much as Kenyan being back to form. I understand as a former playcaller what dynamic he brings.

I think the real determinant will be whether he plays with fear. Most guys usually take at least one full season to fully remove that latent fear from their minds while they are playing. We're just going to have to see how he plays in real games. I really hope Bo is given an opportunity to see the field frequently. I believe he could be very special.
