LOL, yeah after I saw your post @planomateo , I looked up my tickets for the 1979 Sugar Bowl vs. Penn State and 2 tickets cost me $70. The 1992 Sugar Bowl vs Miami I got 4 for $200. The 3 I got for Pasadena cost me $250 each!

Another public gripe I heard about games in BDS was the concession lines.

If you're going to charge NFL money for tickets and concessions, you need to have NFL-style service. Missing half a quarter for a stadium dog and a coke is a travesty.

Churches and High Schools. When I was in HS, Banks High had a stand at Legio Field. My uncle was the basketball coach there and he would get me in for BAMA games. I'd sell programs thru the 1st quarter and then I was free to watch the rest of the game. When I coached at Fultondale High, we ran a concession for the Barons. While coaching here in Sylacauga, our baseball program had a concession stand at Talladega Raceway. Got to fund your programs anyway you can.

My mom graduated from Banks back in the mid 60's. My grandparents lived nearby just on the other side of "thrill hill".
