We are there. Revenue sharing...where there's a shit load of revenue balanced (or not) against a shit load of expenses. People don't get...Bama loses money. It was millions last season.

I had this conversation last week with a group of fans (Troy) and just couldn't get it through to them. Said I was being "too pessimistic" and it's "not that bad." I said at schools like Alabama, USC, Michigan, etc. every sport other than (men's) basketball and football (and some cases baseball) is BLEEDING money. What do you think it means for G5 schools? Hell, most G5 schools don't even bother TRYING to sell tickets to women's sports at all.

Coaches have buyouts and contract obligations. The players have no repercussions

To be fair, I have heard that some collectives have started putting buyouts (or paybacks I guess) in NIL deals if a player leaves.
