Man o man! Did Arky not come up with just a horrible way to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory last night? That had to be the most mind numbing way to lose a game.

I really felt for Davalan, the left fielder. Kid had 101 putouts on the season with only 1 error and it came in that last inning. The hardest ball to play as an outfielder is that line drive straight at you.

It was a defining moment for lot of people in the media/social circles as they were yelling, "choke" and I'm thinking "you've never had a ball hit like that at you."

Brutal. I had the sound off so didn't realize what was going on at first. Would love more info, but on the surface, looks like a major blunder by the umps. That said, after seeing the quick trigger, the assistant coach should have let his HC handle it and stood down (as hard as that may be). Without a really, really good explanation though, that crew (or at least part of it) needs to walk the plank.
