Buchner going into the Portal as a Lacrosse player. Pretty good talent there if you can play both.

I think targets I'd like to see Alabama go after:
1) Evan Stewart - Very much fits the Jameson Williams mold, speedy guy ran a nfl laser 4.36 40 yard dash can catch and we've seen him in action enough to know what he can do. A big track guy also, kinda fits the Saban mold for receivers.
2) Caullin Lacy - South Alabama WR - 92 Receptions 1316 yards 7 TDs AVG 14.5 - Speedy small guy a better version of Kobe Prentice (Who seems to have lost his job to Kendrick Law and Bond) He carved up a few teams this year.
3) Kris Mitchell - Been over this before, but great hands good at 50/50 balls. Speed and route running ability are good. Not Jameson Williams fast but definitely able to create separation easily.
4) Walter Nolen - Pretty self explanatory here, I think he's a solid option to immediately plug and play. He may be after some big $$ though, so who knows
5) Monroe Mills - Another physical OT option, don't have a lot about him but he fits the bill and seems to have his head on his shoulders, less off-the-field issues.
6) Marley Cook - 22 tackles 6 TFL 1 sack 1 FF 1 FR 1 PBU this year. Physical specimen at 298lbs he's got a lot of strengths. Not sure about his game, 22 tackles seems awfully low for someone who outweighs and outmuscles most people this year. Though his teammates around him were pretty bad this year so maybe he ate all the double teams.
7) Aenas Peebles - 44 tackles 5 TFL 4 sacks 1 PBU and 1 FF this year. Speaks for itself, veteran player who could come in and immediately contribute on our D-line.
8) Upton Stout - CB - 29 tackles 2 TFL 1 Sack 1 INT 1 FF 1 FR 2 DTD 8 Passes Defended. That's in 7 games, his stats the year before were better. Might be worth a look. RS-SO who actually has 4 years EXP. COVID And RS year I guess.
9) Kamari Wilson - S able to play some Free-safety for us, I'm not sure the coaching staff or I am sold on Devonta Smith next season if they already had to bring a transfer guy in this year. Florida guy from IMG, a place we recruit heavily and should have some ties to our staff. Not sure if Tony Mitchell is also ready to take over or not either at that spot.
Obviously this list could change as many many more names will enter the portal and better options become available. Just saying at this very snapshot in time here's who I'd look into.
I think we've got a real chance at a few of them, not sure about Nolen he's definitely better than Cook and Peebles but he may bring a lot of other problems with him.
The 3 receivers are all pretty good, I personally like Evan Stewart and Kris Mitchell if it were just my decision, both have good things going for them. Kris MItchell's body control reminds me of Devonta Smith when he's in the air, he's just able to find the ball and come down with it. That being said, we might need more game breaking speed on the edge for Milroe to throw to next year.

Thaiu Jones-Bell entered the Transfer portal today from Bama. He had taken a Medical Year this year and hadn't been with the team since August.

Man, crazy. You wonder if Carnell Tate and Brandon Innis are thinking about it. I know Harrison Jr. is leaving, but Ebuka would be back, Jeremiah Smith coming in to go along with a heavy room already.
On a side note, Raleek Brown from USC was going tk enter the Portal. Would LOVE his speed in Tuscaloosa.

I bet a lot of pressure was on him to beat Ohio State and when they lost he said some things to piss some folks off. All I can think of, the pressure.
