Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe there's something going on in the "locker room" with OSU. But this doesn't make sense to me unless he's looking for a payday.

Day has always crossed me as a major asshole behind closed doors. Watching his mannerisms on the sideline is where I grab that from. He's a lot like Dabo that he always has to be chippy with his remarks and looks for a reason to act tough on TV. That's an objective look. You may be right.

Something doesn't make sense to me. And when that happens in college football...? Egotistically speaking, when that happens there's something afoot. Yes. When it doesn't make sense to me, something is wrong.

I agree with this, he's also not the only OSU player to enter the portal either. They've had a few just in a few hours this AM. Rats jumping ship before it starts to sink? Or just pruning of people that aren't going to make it, hard to tell exactly.

Saban never lowers himself to the muck below and that's where his professionalsim comes from. For Day to call out Lou freaking Holtz of all people in a post game interview is just petty, silly, and something Dabo would do. We see how goofy and terrible he has come across. Day is that same thing to me. Hasn't earned a thing and it still coasting on a lot of what urban left for him. Wait till Larry Johnson or Hartline leaves, and then we'll see.

Last year, Ohio State offered Drake Maye $5 million to come in... they offered CJ Stroud more than that to stay, he obviously said no (which worked out well for him). But, they have some dough to spend... and I'm not predicting this amounts to anything, but someone who'd know says the Manning team is at least listening. Personally, I doubt it happens, but it would be funny as shit... and a nice payback for the Horns taking Ewers form them.

Geez, $5M would be nice before you pay an agent a large sum and have so much other siphoned off that college doesn't pay for. he could have taken that and put it aside to never have to worry about money ever again before even making it to the NFL.

I agree Day sux and there's something to it, but I didn't see anything out of McCord against mediocre competition that warrants big $$$.
