Anyone know if his Brother already went to Bama or something or lives close by? That's huge, one of the big reasons Jabbar was rumored to Texas is because of his cousin, if his brother is near Bama that could change some things. I had no clue on this one or Coach DeBoer just pulled the ultimate recruiting move...I heard he flew in with his father but wasn't sure about the brother.

I would assume the brother traveled with the father as well. I am hopeful we get the DB but it will be bad optics if he were to select Texas over playing with his former HC. Then again with the way things are going , I will not be surprised if he goes elsewhere to play.

Well the rhetoric has been that he and his cousin are very close. His cousin plays for Texas and they're willing to give him a big NIL deal obviously to make it worth his time also.
He definitely likes Coach DeBoer but I understand the draw of playing with a family member and going back to play closer to home. I won't be surprised if he picks Texas but was wondering if his Brother lived here or if he just came with him and his father on the trip. I knew the father arrived but didn't hear anything about the Brother so was asking if anyone knew anything on that matter.

Bama is in good position on several candidates and I think we will be fine. I would imagine after this weekend, focus would shift from keeping players on team to evaluating options within and portal for next few months and I think our GM will be busy working deals behind the scene with several players currently on other teams.....

Love the staff Deboer has put together, only thing I need to see now is he and his staffs recruiting ability for some of these top talents. He obviously understands the importance of it, let's see how they do.

Hope so. If he lands Williams, that's his first big recruiting win. There's gonna be a ton more this cycle. He's very quickly gonna get a taste of how this shit works, hopefully he adapts to it.

I know @Justneedme81 has been telling us to calm down but I still say this is not a zero sum game for bama. We had elite talent leave and trading out with Washington talent is not equivalent. With that said so people do not think I am a downer here, I think the guys coming in on offense that already know Washingtons offense will accelerate the transition in KBD's first year. Offensive production should be easier to manage.

I know some people don't find these highlights to be sexy, but being an ex o-line guy myself I enjoy the trench warfare. Here's some clips of Brailsford from last season that are pretty amazing. He constantly beats people with technique and leverage.
