I can't remember the stat, but saw it last year after silly season was over for the transfer portal. Again, not exact, but something like 80+% of the transfers end up dropping down a division in order to be able to play. It is truly, "the grass ain't always greener" scenario.

Doug, this is what I've said from day one. It's a zero sum game.

It be nice, but I don't see us landing him. Plus, we are absolutely stacked at the position. So much so, that Alexander had to move to ILB. Long term, it's gonna be for the best, we need him on the field in some capacity, and he looked pretty good whenever he got his chance. I've alluded to this before, but we're likely gonna move players around again, like Qua Russaw. I just don't see him sticking with the OLB room for long, plus we might need him to move to ILB if we have guys transfer out(which I think is coming).

Hadn't heard anything about locker room issues from him, but I know some other guys at TAMU had some issues. Interesting we went after LT Overton but doesn't look like we're pursuing Nolen.

Strikes me as some major interest if he canceled Ohio State visit to come to Bama this weekend. Either we're giving him major interest or he's very interested in us. We shall see how it plays out.
